Every planet has a real name
that no human knows,
every plant and tree has a real name
that no human knows.
If you listen in your dreams
waking and sleep, sometimes
they reveal themselves
and we are tasked with remembering.

you know, we are sometimes tasked with
figuring all of this out.
but it is hard to confirm if you have
come upon or arrived at the
genuine names, the true identities
who are we supposed to turn to?
the angels, the gods and goddesses, the ancestors?
oh and all of them have real names
we do not know.
The names are unknown but I know
I can fit my feet perfectly on the round, smooth hard
stones in the stream
There are no jagged edges on the stones
and my feet fit so well
on the smooth stones
in the cool stream
