As some of you know, I have participated in many communities and their follies in my 35 years of life here on this earth. What my "public" may not know is I have had specific and rather excellent reasons for leaving each group I left. Let me say, I learned from each, some offered more than others, but it is imperative now, for my own progress and healing, that I launch my own organization.
In the Tao of Healing, adopted by lots of different people, and adapted to fit each circumstance, it is said,
"The healer knows, We heal no one,
we Cure no one, to attempt a cure denies the truth,
Disharmony sown in spirit
reaps imbalance in the flesh
to regain the point of balance,
simply open your heart
offer your life
allow the love to heal
allow the weak to grow
say "I am the healer" and
you step out of the flow
for the Universe flatters no one
but offers its life
when you offer your own"
My organization model, as I have stated elsewhere on this site has very little do with previous models. It is not traditional in the sense that, folks who check in and participate can do that from where ever they are, we do not all need to meet to take part, and for as long or as short an involvement they wish for. This is an unprecedented undertaking.
For example, every contributor will control the conditions of their labor. Fair labor practices are a MUST. Transparency when it comes to decision making is one of very few rules I will set and that means that any decisions made by me, the owner, or folks that participate are made with open doors, on public records. This organization maintains the awareness that separate is not now and has never been, equal.
Also, if you have uplifting music or products that will never be landfill, get in touch! This group is committed to ethical, green practices so seven generations from now, children and all others, will breathe fresh air all over the planet, drink and swim and bathe in fresh clean water and so on.
At the beginning and maybe this will stay the rule, this is a labor of love. Whatever is offered to the group is never required, only appreciated. There is a word some Buddhist communities use called "Dana" or, generous giving. This will apply to Imaya's Modalities Organization. We accept "Dana" but require nobody to pay for services that people involved choose to give.
Imaya's Modalities calls on all who participate to think in these terms, to get on board with this vision. Every contributor will control the conditions of their labor. Fair labor practices are a MUST.

Dealing with another part of Reality:
It is necessary to make a public statement about sexual predators in all of the communities of all people. I have learned, in the worst way, no community is safe. I personally, am a survivor of assaults. Those of you who are as well and who are not may feel moved to show solidarity. I must make it clear I have been on the side of many people in my past I feel zero loyalty to now. This is a process many folks go through, in order to get clear about who is solid enough to be supportive to you during some pretty intense and confusing ups and downs, which is what people often go through without the added fallout from being a survivor.
What matters in any type of human relationship at all, is that the person who is coming out of the PTSD or assault /trauma closet have people that consistently SHOW UP. If there is nobody showing up, for years at a time, no checking in, no call, no text, no email, the person who has been hurt will turn inward in pain, or strike outward. This is the nature of that kind of pain. We deal with it differently, but the differences are nuanced, not externally obvious, in most cases.
My intention in saying this is that with the Cosby insanity coming to light, I see this as a perfect moment to identify that men are not the only predators. Women can be too. Women may not commit the acts or at times they do, but they may be complacent and silent or defend the accused, while not having any solid reason to other than it threatens their seat at the proverbial table.
For that, there is a special place in "hell" for them. I was raised to not believe in hell, but I know that within human realms on earth, there are hell realms. Trust me, there are people of all shades, ages, shapes, genders and colors in that hell right now. It is up to them to get out. The gates are open, if you can find them. And if you cannot, it is there you will remain.
I do not have specific rules in place, or answers to the question of what do we do to make our communities safe, I am just drawing attention to this with the hope for solutions in mind. If this is an area you wish to help with, clarifying and intending to make our spaces safe, please get in touch.

We must start becoming our own, first and best doctors before any other intrusive medical practice begins, take a good long time to ponder what your diagnosis has been, integrating honestly what your habits have been, including those you developed because you needed to fit in. Don't fault your self for this, you probably did need to try to fit in, whether it worked or not. This directly relates to the survival "chakra" or perhaps for secular folks, it is called "solar plexus".
We have ALL been manipulated from that place, it is one of many reasons that society has become as sad, confused and violent as it is. We can and will change this. I am here not to be an expert, but to share openly how I have done what in some social circles is called a "Soul retrieval" Pretty much every person has their own definition of Soul. That is great! It is as it should be. Thus, the journey of retrieving that which has been damaged or stolen is entirely up to the person looking for this particular modality. I walk in worlds of many kinds of faiths, so this group has a tolerance and acceptance policy managed by the creed "Harm nobody and do as ye will".
Regarding Artists:
For all the consciousness that has supposedly been raised over the past decades, it seems that the covert nature of these ills have not gone away, they have become insidious. Rather than rant against it, I choose to offer up suggestions of how to change it if you are interested in actually getting to songs, art and dialogue that can keep your interest and inspire you. I, for one, am more than ready for that to happen on a massive scale!!
1. Stop instantly comparing one artist to another before you have a good sense of their intended message or messages
2. Stop focusing so much on their appearance, and I suggest this because if the celebrity or politician's public is not obsessed with their image and how their image is changing, they will be forced to have more of a reason to be in the public eye, and more and more those will be good reasons and then we will wean off of worshiping celebrities in general.
3. Perhaps doing these things will lead to more of a social conscience for some of them and an ability to take a stand publically and courageously on pressing matters in this world we all share. What a breath of fresh air that would be for a huge part of the American public and for people who live abroad who feel that we are incredibly wasteful and arrogant. Just like a stage of diabetes that is not full blown yet, we can reverse this damaging trend.
